Example: choose a provider, model, and role

Make three separate choices based on the job, risk, and operating constraints.

Add the provider

Onboarding and Environment list the supported provider credentials. Save only the key you need; secrets remain write-only after saving.

The provider step appears before knowledge and agent creation so model availability is explicit.

Choose a role

Use a fleet agent for independent end-to-end work, an orchestrator to delegate, a sub-agent for one specialty, and a tactical node for a tightly repeatable transformation. The role describes responsibility; the model describes capability.
